Based in Rockhampton, Salix is delivering turnouts for a 210-kilometre rail link from the Carmichael Mine to the existing Central Queensland Coal Network.
The narrow gauge rail line for the Carmichael Mine will be approximately 210-kilometres long and connect the mine to the port using existing rail infrastructure.
Scope of Works:
- AS60kg - Five (5) off 1 in 12 turnouts with RBM Crossings on concrete bearers
- AS60kg - Five (5) off 1 in 16 turnouts with SNX Crossings on concrete bearers
- AS60kg - Five (5) off Flexi Catch-points on concrete bearers
- AS60kg - Three (3) off Temporary Turnouts
- 46 off Guard rail noses
