Moorebank Logistic Park is a nationally significant infrastructure development that will transform the way containerised freight through Port Botany (Sydney) and deliver a faster, simpler and more cost-effective service for business and consumers.

At full operation, the facility will have the capacity to shuttle over 1 million shipping containers annually between Port Botany and Moorebank by rail instead of road, taking about 3,000 heavy truck movements off Sydney’s road network every day

This project involves designing, manufacturing, and supply of complete Crane rail system. The system was manufactured in Europe, with base plates delivered to sleeper manufacturer Austrak in Rockhampton, QLD to be casted on the bespoke monorail sleepers to achieve targeted completion date and greater quality control. The complete supply was completed within 14 weeks from signing the contract. The complete solution involved designing, manufacturing, supply and throughout on-site installation consultancy.

Scope of Supply:

  • 4000m plus of AS86 crane rail
  • 3400 bespoke designed monorail concrete sleepers
  • 7540 adjustable chairs
  • 30160 patented galvanised RailLok W15 clips
  • Patented crane rail pads, anchor bolts, nuts and bolts
  • 4 fixed hydraulic buffer stops specifically designed for the loco shifter
